- Renounces disbelief and disobedience – The Kalima includes a clear rejection of Kufr, falsehood, and all forms of immoral actions, which helps reinforce one’s spiritual purity.

The Seriousness of Kufr in Hadiths
Several Hadiths emphasize the severity of Kufr and its consequences.
For instance, in Sahih Bukhari (6103), Abu Huraira narrates that the Prophet Muhammad (ﷺ) said, “If a man says to his brother, ‘O Kafir (disbeliever)!’ then surely one of them is such (i.e., a Kafir).”
Additionally, Sunan An-Nasa’i (4113) narrates:
‘’Fighting a believer is Kufr and defaming him is evildoing.’’
These hadiths show the seriousness of labeling someone a disbeliever and the weight such accusations carry.
Furthermore, in Jami At-Tirmidhi (3067), it was narrated:
“When (the following) was revealed: It is those who believe and confuse not their belief with Zulm (wrong) (6:82) – That bothered some Muslims, so they said: ‘O Messenger of Allah! Which of us has not wronged himself?’ He said: ‘It is not that, it is only Shirk, have you not heard what Luqman said to his son: O my son! Do not commit Shirk with Allah. Verily Shirk is a tremendous Zulm (wrong) (31:13).”
Protecting Oneself from Kufr Through Faith and Patience
To prevent falling into Kufr, it is essential for a Muslim to constantly strengthen their Iman (faith).
In Surah Al-Baqarah (2:153), Allah instructs:
“O believers! Seek comfort in patience and prayer. Allah is truly with those who are patient.”
This verse reminds us of the importance of patience and perseverance in maintaining strong faith. By seeking refuge in Allah (SWT), reciting the 6th Kalima, and consistently performing good deeds, a believer can guard themselves against the whispers of disbelief.
Conclusion: The 6th Kalma Radde Kufr
The Sixth Kalima Radde Kufr is an important supplication that encapsulates a Muslim’s rejection of disbelief and affirmation of Tawheed. It serves as both a protection and a reminder of the dangers of Kufr and Shirk.
Reciting this Kalima regularly helps a believer renew their faith, seek forgiveness, and strengthen their bond with Allah (SWT). May Allah grant us the strength to stay firm in our faith and protect us from all forms of Kufr. Ameen.
